Stacking Cable STACK-T4-50CM uses the latest Cisco StackWise-160 technology. Cisco StackWise-160 technology builds on industry-leading StackWise® technology, which is a high-end stacking structure. StackWise-160 has a stack bandwidth of 160 Gbps. StackWise - 106 uses Cisco IOS Software SSO to provide in-stack resiliency.
In a stack, a switch is selected as Switch Active. An Active switch will automatically select a switch as a backup switch in the stack. Switches are Actively created and updated with all switching/routing/wireless information and continuously synchronizing that information with the standby switch. If the acrived switch fails, the backup switch takes over the role of the active switch and continues to keep the stack active. Access points continue to stay connected during active to standby transitions
