The Cisco SFP-GE-L compatible transceiver provides a high performance and cost-effective small form factor pluggable module for 1000BASE-LX/LH Gigabit Ethernet and 1G Fiber Channel application. It fully complies with the Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and can be used on the MSA compliant networking equipment. The product is tested to be compatible with Cisco networking equipment including Ethernet Switches, Ethernet Routers, Network Interface Cards (NICs) and Media Converters. It is an ideal equivalent to Cisco 1000BASE-LX/LH SFP transceiver module (SFP-GE-L) but with much lower price, which provides a reliable compatible solution for system integrator, distributors and end users in network infrastructure and fiber cabling.
